my power came back on while I was out running errands but I'm too cold and tired to cook so I might just order ramen

I will never get over this ramen place. Instead of chashu, they serve strips of chicken thigh fried with crispy skin. The broth (chicken paitan) is so tasty I actually drink the whole bowl. It's super rich but I don't even feel heavy afterwards. And no matter how much prices rise, they still only charge ¥680 (+¥100 for the egg). It's such a hidden gem, I am loyal to them forever.

UMMMM food. We mostly wanted to go to Japan for the food and it did not disappoint. We had so many delicious noodle dishes, sushi, sweets, etc. These are some of my favs -

Omen - udon in Kyoto. It was so good aaaa the flavor depths. Udon is my favorite type of noodle.

Hafuu - wagyu beef place in Kyoto that literally was the best meal we've both had in our lives. Ahhhh melt in your mouth, I want to have it every day :(

Malasada donuts - amazing fluffy donuts in Shimokitazawa. I was hoping to get the totoro cream puffs from Shimokitazawa, but they were all sold out. This was a good substitute

Tori paitan ramen from Shibuya PARCO - after visiting the Nintendo, Capcom and Pokemon stores, we got random ramen from the basement of Shibuya PARCO and aaaaa...it was amazing.
